Through countless conversations with other moms in similar situations, Jing discovered this wasn't just her problem — it was a shared headache for small landlords everywhere. That realization sparked an idea.
In late 2021, Jing, Ling, and Niya — longtime friends and former teammates from NonScents.com — formed a staging team of 5 moms. What started as helping each other quickly turned into something bigger.
After completing dozens of projects in 2022, they had transformed a 2-3 month vacation rental staging process into just 2-3 weeks. The efficiency gains were remarkable, but one challenge remained: finding reliable maintenance vendors.
That changed in early 2023 when Jason joined the team. With his expertise in vendor management and operations, they were able to build an in-house service network for their vacation rentals — from staging and remodeling to ongoing maintenance.
After two years of refining the model and proving it worked, the team realized they had built something other landlords desperately needed. In 2025, Valta Homes was officially born — productizing everything they had learned: the 24/7 hotline, call center support, factory-direct furnishings, and a complete rental management ecosystem — now available to landlords everywhere.
